Monthly WordPress Updates to All Software, Theme & Plugins

Throughout the month we make periodic updates to the WordPress Core Software, Plugins & Theme.

If there is one thing that needs happen with a WordPress site, it’s keeping your site updated. 

Over 90% of all attacks against WordPress websites come from hackers exploiting an outdated and/or insecure plugin or version of WordPress.

Not only do we make these updates for you, we also test them to make sure they are “playing nicely” with the rest of your website.  This ensures there are no conflicts between an updated plugin or theme and other parts of your site.  

Free SSL Certificate (if hosting on our WPEngine platform)

If you decide you would like to take advantage of our WPEngine hosting platform (included in our packages), we will ensure your site has a valid SSL Certificate attached. We will handle the installation.

This means your site will show up as https (not http.) An SSL Certificate keeps sensitive information sent across the Internet encrypted so that only the intended recipient can access it.

When an SSL certificate is used, the information becomes unreadable to everyone except for the server you are sending the information to.

If your website does not have an SSL Certificate, visitors might see the dreaded “This site is not secure” screen before entering your site – this tends to be a traffic-killer.

Enterprise Level WPEngine Hosting

(Or stay with your current hosting provider)

Yes, that’s right, if you want to stay with your current hosting provided, that’s totally fine.

However, we recommend that you take advantage of our WPEngine platform.  It’s a “WordPress-specific” hosting platform that has enterprise level security. It’s all included in the package.

It’s also faster than most WordPress servers out there.  Speed is a big factor when it comes to Google rankings.

We also provide an SSL certificate so your site shows up as “secure” or under “https” which is critical for visitors to access your website.

We will migrate and test your website from your current hosting provider to your WPEngine server in order to launch the site on the new server.

This has to be one of our clients' favorite features of our WP Maintenance Services.

You get an executive summary that shows everything we’ve done on your website for the month. Through this report, we keep you in the loop and provide information about your website’s activity for the month including:

You will also see these factors and grades in the monthly report you will receive each month.
